Its very westernised apart from the lack of litter, mainly i suspect due to the strict laws on litter dropping. You think your walking into a shop and it turns out to be a 6 floor mall! lots of very tall buildings as well. You wont believe how many massive shopping centres there are. Its constantly humid but its bearable at the mo. Lunch cost us 80-90p each and diner 3.00 each (keyboard dont do the pound sign!) I`m (Ed) taking a liking to these freshly squeezed fruit juices for 30-70p.gorgous with ice!īeen raining today but the 10 mins of sunshine we got made us realise were glad were not here in summer.

We managed to get a bit of sleep last night but were kept awake by the loudest ever rendition of hey hey baby oooh ahh.and a rather large generator from the shopping centre behind the hotel. Turns out our hotel is run by the young womens christian association! wondered why all the other guests were walking around is sailors outfits!! We are here till Thursday so will try to get another diary entry in before thenĬome on s fun to stay at the Y.W.C.A. Its 8.50 pm at the moment and i really must get to bed as i swear the walls are moving.in fact i know they are.yep they just moved again! Hotel is in good location, minutes from the famous Orchard Road Christmas lights just seem so strange in this climate! The Christmas lights are up so expect some pictures soon. Weather is Singapore is cloudy.but humid very humid! I would say it took about 5 seconds after leaving the airport for the first bit of sweat to appear on our brows! We left about 45 minutes late and the journey took 12 hours almost to the dot. Not really sure when 11th november ended and 12th started so its a 2in1 diary entry! Weve been up for 30 hours now so apologies if mistakes creep in! Not being a massive fan of flying you may be interested to know that it was the most enjoyable flight i have been on despite it being about 8 hours longer than any other! The time just flew by due to Singapore Airlines entertainment system.

Well its down to hours now before we depart. Ed`s sister, Maz is coming with us to Australia when we`re in Adelaide and Melbourne which I still can`t believe!! We`re going to London for some of this week then I`m up to Sheffield with Ed following Thursday. If it ever stops raining i might get out this house! Played my last game of snooker for a while last night and lost worry Eeley im a patient man, i can wait for revenge. Have finished work now but so much to do, so many people to see.
